The Hopewell Baptist Church of Sperryville is proud to share this graduation season with the thousands of other graduates throughout the State of Virginia. We are proud of our Pastor, Rev. Ulysses Brokenburr and Miss Peggy Ann Andes. Our Pastor earned his degree from The Northwestern College of Washington, D. C., and Miss Andes received her diploma from The Rappahannock High School. She is now working with Miss Anna Lewis who graduated in 1965, shaping and directing the Young Peoples’ Choir.
Miss Charlotte Aylor, a previous graduate of George Washington Carver High School is now learning the church clerk’s duties from Deacon C. C. Lewis who has been the church clerk for the past thirty years.
