Red Cross Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Fauquier American Red Cross will be held Wednesday, July 9 at 3 p.m. at St. James Parish House, Culpeper Street, Warrenton. Rappahannock County is affiliated with the Fauquier Chapter. All members are urged to attend.
July 4th Program
At Avon Hall
A program of Band Music and Fireworks will be held July 4 at Avon Hall, home of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Carrigan who cordially invite the community to share ii> this annual patriotic program honoring our Day of Independence. Sitting places for the best view will be available high on the hill back of the Court House. The band music with loudspeaker will start at 8 p.m., the fireworks at 9.
It is recommended that parking be done on Gay Street rather than on Route 211.
