Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Jones spent several days last week at The Homestead in Hot Springs during the Virginia Bankers Convention. On Saturday they went to Salem and attended dedication services of Evans Cottage at the Virginia Baptist Children’s home of which Mr. B.N. Eubank and the late Mrs. Eubank were among the donors. Mrs. L.J. Turner and daughter Mrs. William S. Dewhirst also attended the .ceremony and were overnight guests of Mr. Eubank. J.S. Bonnett has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Hall for the past two weeks and expects to return this week to his home in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Palmer spent the weekend in Lawrenceville, they attended the Holmes-Rodgers wedding and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne.Lucy.
Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Bun tin and daughter Nancy were the weekend guests of Mr. Buntin’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Simon Kahiminga at their cottage at Lake of the Woods.
Mrs. E.M. Eastham accompanied by her son W.G. Eastham visited friends in town on Sunday. Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett returned to Front Royal
