Election Scheduled For PTA Officer*

The Rappahannock County Elementary School PTA will meet og Tuesday night, May 19, at 8 p.m. at the school. Officers foi the school year 1970-71 will be elected, and the children of the school will present a program entitled, “Symbols of Democracy.” At the conclusion of the meeting, refreshments will be served.

Overnight Camp Out

Boy Scout Troop No. 65 of Sperryville camped out overnight Friday at Byrd’s Nest Shelter No. 3 in Shenandoah National Park. They were accompanied by Scoutmaster A. Y. Stokes who was assisted by Carson Johnson and Jimmy Wayland. Among those attending were Bill Stokes, Louis Cordle, Bill Kilby, Bobby Titchenell, C. B. Johnson, Clyde Moore, Allen Smoot, Frank Coffey III, James Porter, John Lloyd Jenkins, Charles Grigsby, Marc and Martin Perdue and Greg Wayland.
