Sunday guests of Mrs. Guy Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke and son David and Miss Donna Bailey of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah Burke of Berryville.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. were Mrs. Reverdy Jones of Lexington, Mrs. B. R.Cox of Staunton and Mr. and Mrs. George Davis, Ilf of Bowling Green. Mrs. Cox remained in the Davis home until Wednesday.
John Weaver of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend with his father J. Stant Weaver. Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley attended a birthday dinner Saturday night for Mrs. Weakley’s sister, Mrs. Robert Carroll given by Mr. Carroll at Windser Towers, Arlington. Sunday evening the Weakley’s and Mr. and Mrs. Joel Daczewitz of Woodville had a supper party at Big Meadows on the Skyline Drive. Miss Annie Miller Almond had as her dinner guests last Tuesday night at the Coach and Davem Restaurant in Luray Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett, Miss Mary Miller Wood and Miss Lucy Conrad. Miss Mary Miller Wood and J. D. Keyser accompanied Miss Lucy Conrad to the National Airport Saturday where she left for her home in Victoria, British Columbia after a three week’s visit with Miss Wood. Later they met Mrs. F. D. Wood at Dulles Airport. Mrs. Wood was returning from a two week’s visit with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Hall and family in Camilla, Ga. and her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith and family in Albany, Ga. Miss Lucy Conrad had as dinner guests Friday night at the Holly House Restaurant in Culpeper Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Mary B. Quaintance, Miss Annie Miller Almond, Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett, Miss Mary Miller Wood and Mrs. Henry M. Keyser.
