A Court of Honor for three Boy Scouts of America, Troop No. 65, Sperryville, was held Wednesday morning, May 13 at Rappahannock County High l School. The Eagle Award was i presented Bill Kilby, Bill Stokes i and Bobby Titchenell. This is the I highest award given in scouting.
Bill Kilby is the son of Mr. and Mrs. I. R. Kilby of Sperryville and is an honor student in the tenth grade at the local high school. He has been a Scout for five years and is now serving as junior assistant scoutmaster for Troop No. 65.
Bill Stokes is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. Stokes, also of Sperryville and is an outstanding student in the ninth grade. He is a five-year Scout and was a Cub for two years prior to that.
Bobby Titchenell is from Woodville, the son of the Rev. and Mrs. B. Gale Titchenell. He is an eighth grade student also doing honor work and was a Cub Scout for two years. He has five years in the Boy Scout Troop.
All three boys are members of the Order of the Arrow and have served in various offices within the Troop.
