A special meeting of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, May 15 at 10 a.m. in the courthouse at Washington. This special session has two primary purposes, that of considering the proposed budget for the coming fiscal year and discussing controls for large assemblies in the county such as rock festivals. The budget for Rappahannock County as advertised in the May 7th issue of this newspaper will be accepted or rejected.
The toal budget to be considered is $912,231.00 an increase of slightly over $61,000.00. The levy as
May Garden Club Topic Is Wildflowers
The Rappahannock County Garden Club will meet Wednesday, May 20th at two o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Perkins. Mrs. C. R. Hite will present the program “Wildflowers in Your Home”. The exhibit for May is a bouquet of wildflowers.
