Mahoney

Funeral services for William Marshall Mahoney of Front Royal, who died as a result of an electrical accident Thursday, May 7 near Flint Hill, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Turner Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward Wines conducted the service. Interment was in the Williams Cemetery, Chester Gap. Mr. Mahoney was bom in Rappahannock County July 1, 1927, a son of Harrison Mahoney and Florence Johnson Mahoney of Chester Gap. Surviving with his parents are his wife, Anne Marie Williams Mahoney; a son, William Steven Mahoney and a daughter, Joyce Diane Mahoney, both at home; four brothers, John P. Mahoney of Gaithersburg, Md., Noah Mahoney of Front Royal, James Mahoney of Chester Gap and Walter Mahoney of Bentonville; and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Riley of Stephens City and Mrs. Annie Walters and Mrs. Mary North, both of Front Royal.

Active pallbearers were Richard Sheetz, William E. Ponn, John W. Kemp, Junior F; Griffith, Luther W. Seal, L. Sherman Williams, Roy F. Pounds and Floyd Breeden.
