overnight guests on Thursday. Mrs. W. M. Fletcher returned home Friday after spending the week with Mr. and Mrs. Nick Slater in Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Casey of Norfolk were Sunday guests of Mrs. Jesse Ward at Echo Hill Farm. Ned Moffett Jones of VPI spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones at Delamore. Miss Carter Moffett and her roommate Miss Joe Billins of Mary Washington College were weekend guests of Judge and Mrs. W. F. Moffett. Mrs. Bertha Armel spent the weekend with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brown Estes at Lignum. Carroll Racer, Jr. spent the weekend at his home and returned to Veterans Hospital in Washington, D. C. where he is scheduled for surgery this week. Mr. and Mrs. William Nicholson and two sons of Front Royal were visitors Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nicholson. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Eldred and two children of Roanoke were weekend guests of Mrs. Eldred’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Walker.
