The 4 o clock Virginia burning law becomes effective Wednesday, March 1, and is in effect until May 15. This law states that open air fires are unlawful within 300 feet of the woods, or inflammable material leading to woodland, except between the hours of 4 p.m. in the afternoon and Midnight.
