To satisfy the State Jaycee organization as well as myself, 1 have investigated this incident. Because this case has not been heard in Court, it would be unfair to all parties concerned for me to reveal the results at this time. However, some of Mrs. Tichenell’s statements are unwarranted and without justification.
Why was this young man admitted without a tie? He was admitted without being properly dressed, as a mature well-disciplined Marine would be, and only through the hospitality of the Jaycees was he permitted to stay at the dance.
