Surviving are his wife Jeanette R. Wines, his step mother Mrs. Alma Wines of Chester Gap; two sons, James L. Wines Jr. U.S. Army Fort Jackson, S.C. and Allen Wines of Front Royal; two daughters, Mrs. Delores Vaughn of Riverdale, Md. and Miss Carolyn Wines of Front Royal; two brothers, Thurman N. Wines of College Park, Md. and Billy J. Wines of Chester Gap; four sisters, Mrs. Madeline Wiseman of College Park, Mrs. Virginia Fincham of Culpeper, Mrs. Peggy Wines of Front Royal and Mrs.Barbara Wines of Chester Gap, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Chester Gap Baptist Mission, Rev. RoyMathena officiating. Burial followed in the Williams family cemetery, Chester Gap. C
