was taken to Warren Memorial and on February 28 Mrs. Emily Alley was taken from Rappahannock Manufacturing to Warren Memorial.
Chester Gap Rescue Squad also had two calls, Rufus Williams was taken from home to Warren Memorial February 27 and returned home. On Friday February 25 Charles A. Hughes was transferred from Warren Memorial to a Charlottesville hospital.
The Chester Gap Fire Department responded to Joe Mills’ home on 522 February 23 to a flue fire. Services were not required as Mr. Mills was able to extinguish the fire.
On February 26 Washington Fire Department responded to a fire at the residence of Otis Brown at Rock Mills. The Rescue Squad answered as a standby unit.
Sperryville Rescue Squad carried a Miss Sisk from her home in Woodville to Culpeper Memorial on February 24. On February 25 and again on the 26th they carried William Aylor , from Sperryville to Charlottesville. On the 26th Reuben Taylor was taken from H&J Grocery to Charlottesville. □
