TWO VEHICLES became involved in a collision at the intersection of Routes 522 and 211 Saturday at 12:45 p.m. This was investigated by Trooper R.A. Baines.
According to his findings, a ‘71 Plymouth operated by Jacob H. Gichner of Washington, D. C. and a 1962 Plymouth operated by lsobel Hobson of Luray were involved.
Mrs. Hobson was travelling east on Route 211 when her vehicle was struck in the right rear by the Gichner car which had failed to stop at the intersection. He was cited for failure to obey highway signs.
Damage to the Gichner vehicle was set at $150 and estimated at $200 to the other one.
