THE VIRGINIA B.C.I.A. Performance Tested bull sale will be this Friday, March 10 at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises — 116 bulls; 77 Angus, 32 Polled Herefords, three Charolais, 2 Red Angus, one Hereford and one Shorthorn will be offered for sale to the highest bidders. Sale starts at 10 a.m.
Consigning from Rappahannock are James Cannon, Ray Cannon, “Eldon,” C. E. Johnson and Randall Updike. As usual, some of the better bulls selling will be from right here in our own home county.
The average adjusted 365 day weight of all bulls selling is 979 pounds. The average weight per day of age 2.66 pounds.
Thirty-one of the bulls selling had an adjusted 365 day weight of over 1000 pounds.
