fire at the farm of Dale Metzinger, and at 3:30a.m. Thursday the unit was called to a car fire at Buster Leakes.
Sperryville Rescue Squad answered three calls this week; March 3 Mack Dodson was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital, and on March 4, it was called to a wreck at Turn Bridge but services were not heeded. March 7, Wade Freeman was taken from Gid Brown Hollow to Towers Hospital in Charlottesville.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad took Mrs. Bertha Burke from Woodville to Winchester Memorial Hospital. This unit responded to a traffic crash Saturday night but service was not needed.
Flint Hill, Sperryville and Rappahannock rescue units were on standby Saturday at Rappahannock Point-to-Point races. □
