More than 135 young people attended a meeting Thursday night when the kickoff for the spring cleanup campaign took place at Sperryville fire hall. Plans were made for groups with captions to initiate efforts in each community and to orient communities to join the effort to clean up highways and byways and to keep the county clean. The group met again Tuesday night to make posters and suggestion boxes to aid in the overall effort of the cleanup.
