The Division of Motor Vehicles urges all motor vehicle owners to notify the Division immediately of any address change not previously reported since purchasing 1972 Virginia license plates.
Commissioner Vern L. Hill emphasizes that failure to do so could result in 1973 motor vehicle license renewal applications being delayed or undelivered.
The Division will begin preparing the 1973 renewal applications on December 11, for mailing to citizens on February 1, 1973.
Change of address notification should include all 1972 license plate numbers and both old and new addresses, including zip codes.
