harden club to sell

old-fashioned wreaths

THE RAPPAHANNOCK County Garden Club will offer old-fashioned Christmas wreaths made of freshly cut evergreens, begmning this weekend, Saturday, December 9th and Sunday, December 10th, and again on December 16th and 17th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Quail Call Farms, 2.5 miles from Route 211 (on Route 642) Amissville, Virginia.

There will be wreaths of boxwood, wreaths of pine, and wreaths of combinations of greens. They will all have been made by club members just a few days before the sale, so the greens will be crisp and fresh and should last well through the Christmas holidays.

For homemakers who like to do some additional decorating with live greens, assortments of cut evergreens will also be available. Proceeds of the Christmas greens sale will go into the Garden Club Scholarship Fund.
