RAPPAHANNOCK Hunt will have its point-to-point this Saturday at Thornton Hill Farm, Sperryville, beginning with the hunter pace event at 11:30 and ending with the only hound race to be seen at any race meeting.
In addition to these real country events there will be six races over either timber, hurdle or turf courses with some of the best steeplechasers in the country ridden by nationallyknown jockeys competing with top local horses and riders.
Hunts represented in the pair race are Casanova, Potomac, Marlborough, Bull Run and Rappahannock, and a record number of hounds, 69, will compete for the Stuart Wells Jr. Memorial Bowl.
