I would like to comment on last week’s letter to the Editor by Mr. Edward A. Harris concerning FMC’s odor problem.
First of all, I agree there is an odor, which should be corrected—as much as is feasibly possible. But going as far as hinting that the odor can be detected as far as 70 miles, is a bit stretching it. Iiive in Royal Village Subdivision, which is behind FMC’s parking lot, and I don’t find it all that bad.
Secondly, referring to “past experience” in Mr. Harris’ .letter of FMC’s efforts in correcting the problem, I know for a fact that several years ago FMC
