Jones, Clerk of Rappahannock County, was the speaker for the Wednesday night meeting last week of Amissville Ruritan Club. His topic was ‘Taxes in Rappahannock” and he enumerated the uses of land and personal property taxes and how the base and rate may be affected by the requirements of the quality education program. A period for questions followed.
