food donations
Amissville Ladies Auxiliary to the fire department of Amissville will need contributions of food for the box suppers which will be sold Thursday evening, August 16, following the parade.
Food required will be fried chicken, good parts; potato salad, deviled eggs and pickles.
Cakes and pies are needed each evening, Wednesday through Saturday, for sale at the food stand.
Someone will be at the carnival grounds food stand from 1 p.m. Thursday to receive donations. If transportation is a problem and anyone needs a contribution picked up, call Mrs. Elva Compton at 937-4059 or Mrs. Edith Hackley at 937-4173.□
