GWYNNE WILLIAMS of Front Royal was awarded the grand prize, a 1973 Ford Torino, at the conclusion Saturday evening of the Flint Hill Fireman’s carnival, which experienced a successful run in spite of uncooperative weather.

Other prize winners were Doris Rinker, also of Front Royal, who received the $75 cash, while R. M. Rector of Culpeper and Raymond Rector, Flint Hill, took home the $50 and $25 cash prizes, respectively.

Rus Spicer of Amissville won the registered Angus heifer which had been coveted by many in view of the beef crises. Eunice Wharton of Amissville was given the gift certificate from Wall’s Jeweler in Front Royal. The pool table went to Franklin W. Sanker of Warrenton and Abe Silek of Front Royal got the $25 cash prize.
