pertaining to the need of the proposed facilities and to receive all evidence regarding the routes proposed by the Electric Companies and to receive all evidence regarding the reasonableness of using any alternate routes or existing transmission routes within the counties indicated. Any interested party desiring to intervene in the October 4, 1973 hearing for the purpose of presenting evidence should advise the Commission by September 15, 1973, by letter to William C. Young, Clerk of the Commission, Blanton Building, P. 0. Box 1197, Richmond, Virginia 23209 with a copy of such notice to counsel to the applicants, Evans B. Brasfield, Attorney, 700 E. Main Street, P. 0. Box 1535, Richmond, Virginia 23212. If the interested party desires copies of the applicants’ proposals or that of the Commission Staff then they should so indicate in their notice and it will be supplied. Any intervenor retaining consultants or experts for the purpose of investigating the need for the proposed facilities and proposed location of such facilities should file with the Commission on or before September 20, 1973, ten (10) copies of the direct testimony and exhibits of such consultants or experts and send a copy thereof to counsel to the Companies and to such other intervenors who may so request.
