Two men were injured in - a single vehicle crash near Massies Corner on Route 211 about 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning. Vanstover Malcolm of Silver Spring, Md. sustained a fractured back, concussion and lacerated hand. He was driving the 1971 Chevrolet pickup involved. Douglas JepsonofTakoma Park, Md., a passenger received a dislocated shoulder and lacerated arm.

According to Trooper R. A. Baines, Malcolm lost control of his vehicle and went over an embankment. Damage to the pickup was estimated at $2100.

The same morning at 3:30 a.m. on Route 522 in Woodville; Richard Hampton Hunter of Culpeper driving a 63 Ford apparently fell asleep and struck a dirt bank totalling the vehicle. He sustained a broken and lacerated face* Ronald Phillips of Jeffersonton, a passenger, had lacerations of the face, also, according to Trooper Baines.
