On motion of J. R. Latham, seconded by E. P. Luke, the following resolution was approved and proposed for hearing at the next regular Board meeting on September 6th: The Clerk was requested to advertise the hearing. “Be it resolved that there be published in the Rappahannock News and by posting on the bulletin board at the front of the Court House of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia in Washington, Virginia notice of the proposal to adopt a revised Subdivision Ordinance for Rappahannock County and also a revised Zoning Ordinance for Rappahannock County. Be it further resolved, that notice shall be given pursuant to the provision of Title 15, Chapter 11 of the 1950 Code of Virginia as amertded, of the intention to adopt such revised Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances at the next regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors to be held at the Court House of Rappahannock County in the Town of Washington at 10 a.m. (E.D.T.) on September 6, 1973 at which time persons affected or interested may appear and present their views. Be it further resolved that this notice be published on August 16th and August 23rd in the Rappahannock News and posted on the bulletin board at the front door of the said Court House covering said period and that copies of the Proposed Ordinances be made available at the office of E. M. Jones, Clerk of the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors at the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia in Washington, Rappahannock County, Virginia.”
