Mr. and Mrs. Jim Steelsmith of Columbus, Ohio were guests for a week of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Pierson and family. While here they all visited Harpers Ferry and Charlottesville, touring the original location of the Walton’s television show. The Steelsmiths celebrated their second wedding anniversary with dinner at Ben and Marys with the Piersons. Mrs. Cathy Beery of Arlington spent Monday with the Pierson family. She was among the group who accompanied President Nixon on his trip” to Moscow.
Mr. and Mrs. G.E. Doyle and G.H. Dennis accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Walter of Falls Church spent Wednesday on a fishing trip to Deal, Md. Tuesday evening dinner guests of the Doyles were the Rev. and Mrs. James Harrison and sons Keith and Clark of Hampton.
Mrs. James Smith of Chevy Chase, Md. is spending this week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham.
Mrs. Sarah Latham was a Thursday evening visitor of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Barber in Orange.
Mrs. Annie Cooke recently spent several days in Richmond where she visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cooke, Mr. and Mrs. Don Burks, Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Lumpkin and Mrs. C.H. Gregory.
