The F & M Nationa I Corporation, a Virg inia corporation, wi 11 offer to bonafide residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia Capital Notes in multiples of $500.00, payable on August 8, 1980, together with interest at the rate of 8 per cent per annum, payable quarter annually on February 15th, May 15th, August 15th and November 15th in each year. The Capital Notes may be redeemed at the option of the corporation as a whole or from time to time in part, prior to maturity at 100 per cent of the principal amount.
