A STATE conference of <* the county ASC committeemen and county executive directors is being held this week in Roanoke, according to T. R. Taylor, chairman of the Rappahannock County Committee.
Attending from Rappahannock County are James F. Massie, vice-chairman, and James W. Coates, county executive director.
This is the first ASCS State conference held in Virginia since 1966, according to Taylor, but with the advent of the Agriculture and Consumer Protection Act of 1973 and the restructuring of ASCS, ‘‘it comes at a very opportune time.”
