Under the new scale, dog owners must pay $5 to license a female dog, $3 for a male dog and $3 for an unsexed female. A kennel of 15 dogs will be licensed for $30 and a kennel of 25 dogs for $50.
Dogs of the German and Belgian Shepherd breeds will be more expensive. Tags for any dogs with as much as one-fourth of these breeds will cost $10 for a female, $5 for a male and $5 for an unsexed female.
THE NEW fees are effective now; however, a technicality required that they be approved subject to being approved formally at the January meeting.
