THE CAMPER would pay a $2 reservation service charge, plus the usual $2 per night campground fee to reserve a campsite. Reservations may also be made in writing to Park Reservations Systems, P.O. Box 1976, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52406.

Shenandoah National Park and the 20 other National Park Service areas are expected to be on a reservation system by July 1, and as the camping season progresses, there will be fewer and fewer campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis. Because of this change in campground management, Jacobsen suggests that those visitors who want to be assured of a campsite should make reservations early.

Entrance fees to the Park are unaffected by the reinstitution of user fees, and will remain at $2 per visit or $10 for the Golden Eagle passport, which will be honored at all recreation fee areas for the 1974 calendar year.D
