BELLE GROVE Administrator George M. Smith has announced definite preparations for the sixth annual Shenandoah Valley Farm Craft Days. The popular and wellestablished folk . festival will be held on Saturday, July 20, and Sunday, July 21, at the historic Belle Grove plantation, a property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation near Middletown.
The 18-century plantation has been a working farm for 180 years. This year’s event will again coincide with wheat, harvest time at Belle Grove. The surrounding farm country of the Shenandoah Valley has preserved many of the old crafts, and for many of the local craftsmen (and craftswomen), their participation in the festival will mean just another working day.
