At a hearing before U.S. Magistrate I. Randolph Dovel, Sr., on October 21, 1974, at Shenandoah National Park Headquarters, Robert L. Fox, Luray Mobile Homes, Luray, and Donald L. Wood, Massanutten Avenue, Luray, were found guilty of possession of a firearm and spotlighting within the boundaries of Shenandoah National Park. Fox was fined $300, and Wood $150, and both were given a 60-day suspended jail sentence. Fox and Wood were apprehended by Park Rangers at Beahm’s Gap on October 10.□
