Mrs. Gracie Williams and Kelly Jo returned from Culpeper Thursday after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Reid.
Mr. and Mrs. Ermand Morris spent the weekend in Maryland visiting his ill mother, Mrs. Prentiss Morris.
Mr. and Mrs. M.E. Nielsen, Philip and Suzy, of Upper Lawn, Pa., the Nielsens’ son, Sterling, on furlough from the Navy, and Mrs. S.M. Shelton of Arlington, were weekend guests of Mrs. M. M. Chastain and family. Mrs. Helen McKenna of Front Royal was a Sunday visitor.
The Chester Gap 4-H Club met Wednesday afternoon in the firehall with 18 members and five adult leaders present and Miss Karen Kuhn in charge. Making Thanksgiving turkeys from paper bags was their project for the day.
