Noah Mahoney

Noah Harrison Mahoney, 88, of Browntown, died November 22, in the Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. He was a native of Rappahannock, the son of the late John Mahoney and Kate Williams Mahoney. He was a retired farmer.

The Rev. Roy Mathena and the Rev. Irving Johnson conducted a funeral service at the Chester Gap Baptist Mission Monday. Interment was in the Williams Cemetery at Chester Gap.

Survivors include his wife, Florence Johnson Mahoney; three sons, John P. Mahoney of Rockville, Md., James R. Mahoney of Chester Gap and Walter A. Mahoney of Bentonville; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth V. Riley of Middletown, Mrs. Annie V. Walters of Browntown and Mrs. Mary Anne North of Front Royal; two sisters, Mrs. Ada North of Chester Gap and Mrs. Mattie Lowrey of Strasburg, 38 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Linwood Cameron, James Cameron, Albert Cameron, Delaney Cameron, Henry Cameron and Samuel North. Turner Funeral Home, Front Royal was in charge of arrangements.D
