Beurt SerVaas, president of the Curtis Publishing Co., Inc., Indianapolis, Ind., has announced that .Ollie Atkins, a Rappahannock resident who was personal photographer to ex-President Richard Nixon, and director of the White House Photographic Department under President Gerald Ford, will become vice president of the Curtis Publishing Co. on February 3.
Mr. Atkins was'working with the Ford Administration until such time as a proper transition in the photographic area had been reached and it was recently decided that December 1 would be convenient for both parties. Already a volunteer advisor to the Nixon Library Foundation, Mr. Atkins will be available as a non-paid advisor to the Ford Administration on photographic matters.
