THE FORE (Facility for Occupational Rehabilitative Enterprises) Board, at its September quarterly meeting held at the workshop near Reminjgton, took steps to prepare for its new role of serving the handicapped in Planning District 9.
First it voted to change its name from the Fauquier-Culpeper FORE to Rappahannock-Rapidan FORE. Next, it approved sending invitations to those counties not resently represented on the Board, Madison, Orange and Rappa^bannock counties, to designate one ^representative each to serve on the Board and to assist in the planning for the District.
Subsequently Mrs. Phylis Ryan, vice president, reporting for a special committee on reorganization, recommended additional overhaul of the organizational structure, . which was approved.
Workshop Director Stephen Colvin reported»FORE participation in the Fauquier and Culpeper markets. There, FORE representatives have been selling fresh farm produce and chances on a quilt made in the workshop. Colvin introduced new staff members: Secretary, Miss Audrey Pullen of Woodville; Vocational EvaluatorPlacement Specialist, Miss Porter Smith; and Production Manager, Kenneth Kocak of Madison.
