Kocak explained the introduction of a work incentive program. Clients who complete their job assignments on time will be given bonus points. They may use the bonus points to procure food and drink donated by merchants.
TUCK BAKER, representing the DVR Area Supervisor, and Narren Blatz, DVR Counsellor of Culpeper, attended the meeting. Tuck stressedFORE’s cooperation in helping place FORE trainees in community employment. Mrs. Laura Kobler, another Special Committee Chairman (dealing with personnel and clientele matters) recommended FORE cooperation in job placement, which the board approved. Mrs. Kabler also urged the utilization of existing small industries and the assistance in creating others.
Mr. and Mrs. John Price and daughter Amris, of the Children of God, who had spent time with that organization in England, Denmark and France, attended and entertained with guitar and songs.
The next board meeting will be Tuesday, November, 18, at the workshop. Officers will be elected for next year. Meeting for their organization of Friends of FORE will be held in Culpeper in October at a date and place to be announced later.□
