The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries has discovered a typographical error in the 1975 Summary of Game Laws which were recently distributed throughout the Commonwealth. Under the section entitled “Primitive Weapons” (Bow and Arrow) the ;text erroneously lists the opening date for the archery season for deer, bear and squirrels as October 13, 1975. The correct dates for the bow and arrow season are Saturday, October 11, 1975 through November 8, 1975 in all open counties.
The bag limit for deer is one per day, one per license year (either sex) in western counties with a one deer limit; and on a day, two per license year (either sex) in eastern counties with a two deer limit. Game taken during the archery season is to be included in the total permitted for the license year.D
