Fund drive
Castleton Rescue Squad has launched a drive for funds with which to purchase an ambulance. This unit is seeking $1500 for a vehicle which will upgrade their present equipment. Plans are being developed and will include a house-to-house canvass, collection jars at various business firms and early in December a public dinner.
The rescue vehicle which is being considered for purchase is a unit owned now by The Plains. According to a squad spokesperson, this is an excellent opportunity to acquire a better piece of equipment which is much needed.
4-H MEETING
