This week has been a little less busy than most lately . . . but let’s see what has been going on . . .
The Southeast Assembly we had at school last week had an unexpected surprise for the students who thought they were only going to be seeing chimps—and that was a huge, 670 pound brown bear called “The Bruiser.” The Bruiser’s owner spoke briefly about bears and gave some of their interesting features. He then proceeded to have Bruiser do a few tricks—sitting up, talking and eating an apple out of his owner’s mouth. He was quite a surprise, to say the least. You should have seen the expressions on the faces of the students when “The Bruiser” came into the gym, barely fitting through the door.
