While there may be many who agree with “Disgusted,” there are some of us who do not!
Not all hunters get their enjoyment out of hunting in the same manner. Some like to go to the woods, sit and wait for a deer to come by, and then shoot it, while others of us like to take our jeer hounds to the woods and hear i good deer chase.
While killing a buck deer is the main objective of this, it is not often accomplished, and certainly lot as often as some people would lave you believe.
Some hunters have been called lazy because they use jeeps to go lunting instead of walking. Well, [ don’t believe a hunter would call “Disgusted” lazy because he or she rode to town instead of walking to town.
The use of four wheel drive vehicles, C.B. radios, walkie-talkies, and other hunting equipment is only a sign of progress. As a matter of fact progress has almost put the hunter out of a place to hunt. Maybe that’s why hunters are seen along the road so much!
As for the traffic problem on the Fodderstack road, this is caused mostly by curious people stopping and wanting to know what’s going on. We believe the law enforcement officers of this county have far more serious problems confronting them than a few cars
