Earnings from holiday jobs can affect the monthly payments of students, housewives, and other people getting social security benefits, according to Philip E. Bettendorf, social security district manager in Winchester.
The amount people earn from holiday jobs will cause a reduction in their social security checks if their total earnings for 1975 are over $2,520.
