COMMUNITY Committeemen of the Rappahannock County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) held a county convention in the county ASCS office at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16. The purpose of the convention was to elect committeemen and alternates to fill vacancies on the County ASC Committee, and to determine the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the County Committee for the coming year.

As a result of this convention, members of the Rappahannock County ASC Committee for 1976 will be: Thomas R. Taylor, chairman; James F. Massie, vice chairman; Dabney M. Eastham, regular member; Thomas B. Massie, first alternate; and John A. Tapp second alternate.

The County Committee is responsible for administering ASCS programs approved for Rappahannock County. This includes: reviewing, approving, and certifying
