Girls Scouts busy
On Thursday, December 4, Girl Scout Cadette Troop 787 made plans for spending the night at the house of the leader, Mrs. Raney, later in the month. Members planned meals and what they were going to do there. So this past week, after the school dance, the troop spent the night at her house. That night they made cookies to hang on Christmas trees. The next morning (Saturday) they went out along the Rappahannock River to find plants. When they got back they made terrariums with the plants that were found.
Next Thursday, December 18, members are going to have a Christmas party for their little brothers and sisters at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington from 4 to 5 p.m.
