Miss Christine Ellen Kidwell. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger E. Kidwell of Flint Hill became the bride of John M. Alther. Jr. on December 6. 1975. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alther. Sr. of Culpeper.
The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. William Ferguson in the Culpeper United Methodist Church. Robert Swift of Brandy' Station played the wedding music and Mrs. Dale Gulas of Richmond was soloist.
