The bake sale at the Williams Store Saturday by the youth of the Baptist Mission was reported a success.
The Chester Gap 4-H’ers had a Christmas party Monday in the Firehall with 17 members present, 4 adult leaders, and 4 guests including Mrs. Llewelyn Allison, agent. The 4-H girls entertained with two one-act plays, followed by a gift exchange and refreshments by leaders, Doris and Timmy Williams, Maybelle Gilkey, and Jimmy Williams.
Dr. Marvin E. Nielsen who is in his 2nd year Family Practice residency at Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe, Pa., was a weekend guest of his great grandmother, Mrs. M.M. Chastain and family at Cedarloft.
The Chester Gap 4-H’ers will go carolling Tuesday evening, December 23, meeting at 6:30 at the home of Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey. The parents of the 4-H’ers are welcome to come also.O
