Public comme^ 1 THE PUBLIC is being asked by I the U.S. Forest Service for comI ments regarding the use of off| road vehicles in the George Wash| ington National Forest. According I to Forest Supervisor George M. Smith, the public users are being asked to help in formulating a plan. I Maps of the Forest’s six Ranger Districts which show roads and trails along with vehicle use proposals are being mailed to a large number of people and organizations for comment. Steepness, rockiness and dense vegetation generally limit any kind of motorized vehicle use to some kind of road or trail on the forest so the study concentrates on roads and trails. January 28, 1976-WaynesI boro Public Library for Pedlar I and Deerfield Ranger Districts.
