TALES
THIS week christened the first events of our spring sports season. By this writing, our girl’s and boy’s track teams will have had their first meets; our Lady Panthers with Luray and Stonewall teams and our boy’s with Central and Luray. This week also brought with it the first game of our baseball season, and a fine one at that. The local team met Warren County Monday in a game which resulted in a 4-3 victory for Rappahannock.
That should lift our Panther spirits high for the upcoming games. Way to go, guys!
We’ve had several more RCHS seniors who have been accepted at colleges. Sue Titchenell and Susan Taylor plan to go to Mary Washington College and Lynda Atkins has been accepted at Lord Fairfax Community College.
